Tweaking

As we finished the Woodpecker Rally without any major problems, then I had time for some 'tweaking' before the next event.

One 'close call' was where a front brake hose had almost rubbed through! Luckily, I had covered the braided brake hoses with rubber hoses so it rubbed through the rubber hose only.

Clearly I don't want that to happen again, so made some aluminium brackets and bolted the hoses with P-Clips. This is just one example of how everything takes time to ensure that you are safe on an event.

As it is getting later in the year and our seeding means we will be running late in the day, I realised this week when I took my daughter Tiffany out for a Test Drive that as it gets dark the Shift Light is way too bright! A suggestion was to cover it, but I worried that a cover may bounce off and be pointless. Another suggestion was to fit a resistor to dim the lights but I was unsure how that would work. The solution I decided on? I fitted a switch in the signal wire so that I can just turn it off if it is distracting me :)

There are a few other things that I have done but I don't want to bore you too much!
